Hi B., hi G.!
Sorry for being late, but i wasnīt at home last
weekend.
Iīve studied the AME-Catalog the last two days, but i
have nothing found about shipping parts to the USA,
what a pity!
In spite of this fact it might be interesting for you
or european bikers what they offer.
And hereīs an extract of what they specially have for
the Savage.
gas tanks:
Mustang 10.5 L without speedometer -picture!
super Fat-Bob 20.0 L without speedometer -picture!
fork-Kits:
seven different forks for the original frame
1. longer; org. width; 14° rake
2. longer; wide-glide 250mm; 14° rake -picture!
3. longer; org. width; no rake
4. longer; wide-glide 250mm; no rake -picture!
5. org. length; wide-glide 250mm; no rake
6. org. length; wide-glide 250mm; 5° rake -picture!
7. longer; wide-glide 250mm; 5° rake
They also offer two different seats, but in my opinion
they look like shit - the typical style of the 80īs.
wheel-Kits:
front wheel: 3.00 X 16" with 130/90-16!!!
chromed or stainless steel
back wheel: 4.50 X 15" with 150/80-15
tire width of this cobination: 162mm!
stainless steel -picture!
4.50 X 15" with 170/80-15
tire width of this cobination: 176mm!
chromed steel
6.00 X 15" with 200/70-15!!! -crazy!
Itīs required a chain-drive, which they
offer too. But who needs a chain on a
Savage???
There are three different exhausts for the Savage.
Rumbler -picture!
Super-Trapp 'Megaphone' -picture!
Silver-Tail -picture, not mounted!
Now itīs enough, but if you want more detailed info or
some pictures of the mentioned parts, please send me
an e-mail - iīll post back! -Steven-
